This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Utilize programming languages to conceptualize and create software solutions.
• Develop new code and modify existing code to fulfill program specifications.
• Integrate software elements and third-party applications seamlessly.
• Validate and implement programs and systems effectively.
• Diagnose issues, debug, and enhance current software applications.
• Ensure software compatibility across various programs, platforms, and mobile systems.
• Collaborate directly with US Army mission partners to devise Warfighter solutions.
• Collect and assess user feedback for continuous improvement.
• Aid in the formulation of epics and features aligned with user requirements.
• Propose and implement enhancements for better efficiency.
• Generate technical documentation for future reference and reporting purposes.
• Possession of an active SECRET clearance.
• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
• At least 3 years of proven experience in the field.
• Compliance with DoD 8570.01 certification requirements for Information Assurance Technology (IAT) Level II.
• Documented experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer, or in a comparable role.
• Previous experience in government technology sectors.
• Proven track record in deploying software using Agile development methodologies.
• Familiarity with software design and development in a test-driven environment.
• Demonstrated experience with cloud technologies, particularly Amazon Web Services (AWS).
• Experience in deploying and managing APIs within AWS infrastructure.
• Proficient in programming languages and frameworks such as .NET, .NET Core, C#, Java, or Python.
• Capability to learn new programming languages and technologies quickly.
• Experience with GitLab as a version control system.
• Preferred: Master's Degree.
• Preferred: Understanding of the Army's software development processes and associated technologies.
• Preferred: Experience in a consultant/client service environment.
• Preferred: Knowledge of FISMA, NIST, and RMF federal IT standards and policies.
