Full Stack Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Accountable for defining requirements, designing, and implementing both frontend and backend applications utilizing JavaScript / HTML / CSS. Familiarity with Ruby on Rails is advantageous.

• Tasked with contributing to and advocating for the architecture of both frontend and backend systems.

• Collaborates with business stakeholders to recommend high-quality user experience solutions for web applications on both desktop and mobile platforms.

• Works alongside configuration management and administration teams to deliver precise build and deployment instructions.

• Engages with secondary groups such as Security, Architecture, IT Operations, and QA to guarantee quality design, delivery, and compliance with corporate standards.

• Develops web-based user interfaces and applications, as well as consumes Web Services.

• Ensures adherence to application development principles, standards, and best practices for every project.

⛳️ Requirements

• BS/MS degree or an equivalent amount of experience.

• 6-8 years of comprehensive web development experience, ideally focusing on secure and scalable web applications using JavaScript / Ruby on Rails / HTML / CSS.

• Proficient in server-side coding with Node.js or Ruby on Rails.

• Deep understanding of web architecture, cross-platform integration, and the construction of scalable applications in diverse environments.

• Skilled in client-side coding with HTML5, CSS, JavaScript, and ReactJS.

• Familiarity with AJAX, XML, JSON, and relevant Design Patterns.

• Extensive knowledge and experience in Test-Driven Development and/or Behavior-Driven Development.

• Proficient in using Git for source control.

• Solid understanding of the complete Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).

• Proven teamwork skills complemented by a strong analytical and statistical foundation.
