This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States, +2 more states.
• Design, implement, test, and sustain full-stack enterprise applications utilizing Java and Python.
• Create responsive web applications and user interfaces leveraging contemporary front-end frameworks.
• Develop and uphold RESTful APIs and backend services.
• Architect scalable microservices and cloud-native applications.
• Collaborate with business analysts, architects, UX designers, and product owners to convert business requirements into technical solutions.
• Develop integrations with enterprise applications, databases, and third-party services.
• Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code in accordance with software engineering best practices.
• Engage in code reviews and mentor junior developers.
• Diagnose application issues and enhance system performance.
• Support automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and production deployments.
• Maintain technical documentation.
• Take part in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, standups, and retrospectives.
• Over 5 years of professional application development experience.
• Strong practical development experience with Java.
• Significant programming experience with Python.
• Proven experience in developing modern web applications and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with object-oriented design principles and software design patterns.
• Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Git version control systems.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies.
• Strong analytical, debugging, and troubleshooting abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Preferred: Experience with Spring Boot and Spring Framework.
• Preferred: Experience with Python frameworks such as FastAPI, Flask, or Django.
• Preferred: Experience with React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Preferred: Experience in developing microservices architectures.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Preferred: Experience with cloud platforms, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
• Preferred: Experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, or GitLab CI.
• Preferred: Experience with automated testing frameworks and Test-Driven Development (TDD).
• Preferred: Familiarity with event-driven architectures and messaging platforms such as Kafka or RabbitMQ.
• Nice to have: Experience in modernizing legacy enterprise applications.
• Nice to have: Experience with serverless computing and cloud-native architectures.
• Nice to have: Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code using Terraform.
• Nice to have: Experience in implementing application security best practices, including OAuth2, JWT, and secure API development.
• Nice to have: Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, or Splunk.
• Nice to have: Experience working in regulated industries such as healthcare, financial services, or government.
