Full Stack AI Product Engineer – TypeScript, Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Latin America.

📋 Description

• Design, develop, and sustain contemporary full-stack applications.

• Create scalable backend systems, APIs, and integrations, along with product capabilities primarily utilizing TypeScript, and Python when suitable.

• Develop efficient and user-friendly frontend applications using the latest web technologies.

• Construct features and solutions for client platforms as well as Chiri's internal products.

• Design and develop AI-driven applications, integrations, automations, and workflows using modern LLMs and AI models.

• Build and manage applications and services on Microsoft Azure.

• Define and oversee cloud infrastructure utilizing Terraform and infrastructure as code practices.

• Establish and maintain automated CI/CD pipelines for application and infrastructure deployments.

• Integrate third-party platforms, APIs, enterprise applications, and business systems.

• Work with both structured and unstructured data, including conversational data like call transcripts.

• Convert business requirements into scalable technical solutions.

• Engage in architecture discussions and system design deliberations.

• Collaborate with engineers, product stakeholders, and client teams.

• Enhance application performance, reliability, security, and maintainability.

• Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to engineering best practices.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional software engineering experience.

• Significant production experience with TypeScript.

• Practical professional experience with Python.

• Professional background in building backend services, APIs, integrations, and data workflows.

• Experience in developing frontend applications using React, Next.js, or similar modern frameworks.

• Proficiency in creating production software that incorporates LLMs, AI models, or AI-driven workflows.

• At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure.

• Practical experience with Terraform or similar infrastructure-as-code tools.

• Familiarity with Docker and containerized application development.

• Strong grasp of software architecture, system design, and engineering best practices.

• Experience in building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and Git-based development workflows.

• Solid understanding of SQL and relational data fundamentals.

• Experience in integrating external APIs and business applications into production systems.

• Proven track record of owning features from design through deployment and ongoing support.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.

• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a remote environment.
