Full Stack AI Engineer, Backend Oriented

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Taiwan, +5 more countries.

📋 Description

• Engage in the complete development cycle of product features across both frontend and backend, guided by senior engineers.

• Acquire knowledge and incorporate mainstream AI coding tools like Cursor, Copilot, and Claude Code into the daily development routine.

• Aid in converting product requirements into functional implementations, minimizing handoff issues between frontend and backend teams.

• Serve as a full stack “seed learner” within the team, embracing full stack practices, sharing ideas, and evolving into a self-sufficient full stack engineer.

• Monitor cross-team collaboration processes and proactively recommend enhancements to product, design, and engineering workflows.

• Participate in the entire product lifecycle, from design through deployment and iterative improvements.

⛳️ Requirements

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program or higher; a major in Computer Science or AI-related fields is advantageous.

• Practical project experience gained through personal initiatives, academic coursework, internships, or contributions to open-source projects.

• Proficiency in at least one backend programming language, such as Java or Golang.

• Familiarity with Node.js and contemporary frontend frameworks.

• Experience in developing complete end-to-end projects.

• Basic knowledge of database design and fundamental backend concepts.

• Acquaintance with mainstream AI coding tools like Cursor, Copilot, Claude Code, or comparable alternatives.

• Ability to effectively communicate requirements and constraints to AI tools.

• Self-motivated and adaptable, with a strong desire to learn and an eagerness to exceed assigned responsibilities.

• A product-oriented mindset and curiosity about the rationale behind what you create.

• Excellent logical reasoning and communication skills; passionate about exploring new technologies.
