This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Serve as the main support and daily point of contact for client service teams and operational needs.
• Manage client records, system defaults, tariff databases, vendors, keywords, and client directives.
• Oversee the completion of release and entry summaries.
• Validate documentation for release conditions, compliance, rating adherence, and free trade certificates.
• Develop, maintain, and adhere to client Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Emergency Service Procedures (ESPs).
• Ensure the precise and prompt release and rating of shipments across all transportation methods.
• Generate customs entries and essential shipment details for Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) release, rating, and billing.
• Reach out to clients and carriers to gather any missing documentation, information, or directives.
• Collaborate with Customs and Participating Government Agencies (PGAs) as required.
• Conduct tariff, valuation, client/importer information checks, and maintain documented internal audits.
• Assist in performance measurement reporting for the Client Service Team.
• Organize daily team operations, set priorities, manage schedules, troubleshoot issues, coordinate meetings, and oversee special projects.
• Implement electronic data relationships and stay updated on new system advancements.
• Carry out other related tasks and comply with established policies and procedures.
• Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
• High School diploma/GED or equivalent is required.
• Progressing towards or having successfully completed the Certified Customs Specialists (CCS) designation is necessary if not already achieved.
• Successful completion of the CCS examination is essential for further career advancement.
• Exceptional oral and written communication skills along with strong organizational abilities.
