Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Switzerland.

📋 Description

• Implement new features and resolve bugs while prioritizing reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

• Ensure codebase integrity by adhering to established coding standards, conducting code reviews, and utilizing automated testing.

• Create and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces and application states for optimal user experiences across various platforms.

• Assist in the development of MiningOS to enhance the operational efficiency of Bitcoin mining operations.

• Play a role in the development of MDK, a toolkit for developers intended to set the standard within the mining sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with React/Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in large-scale production environments.

• Strong proficiency in state management frameworks such as Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar technologies.

• Capability to produce modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Solid expertise in testing and debugging intricate frontend applications.

• Profound interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems.

• Comfort in collaborating within a remote, globally distributed team.

• Effective communication skills.

• Preferred experience in desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or comparable runtimes.

• Familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication is advantageous.

• Ability to enhance UI performance, particularly concerning rendering and memory management is a plus.

• Experience in building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar environments is preferred.

• Contributions to open-source software projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technologies, will be considered a bonus.
