Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pakistan.

📋 Description

• Implement new frontend functionalities and address bugs, prioritizing reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

• Uphold high standards of code quality through adherence to coding guidelines, conducting code reviews, and utilizing automated testing.

• Create and develop responsive, high-performance user interfaces.

• Oversee application state management to guarantee smooth user experiences across various platforms.

• Contribute to MiningOS to enhance the operational efficiency of Bitcoin mining operations.

• Participate in the development of MDK, a toolkit for developers aimed at becoming a benchmark in the mining sector.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with React/Preact alongside modern JavaScript/TypeScript in large-scale production applications.

• Proficient in state management utilizing Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or equivalent technologies.

• Capability to produce modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Strong expertise in testing and debugging intricate frontend applications.

• Profound interest or experience in P2P technologies or distributed systems.

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally distributed team environment.

• Effective communication skills.

• Preferred: experience in desktop application development using Electron, Tauri, or similar frameworks.

• Preferred: familiarity with video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication.

• Preferred: proven ability to enhance UI performance, including rendering and memory management optimization.

• Preferred: experience developing cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or comparable systems.

• Bonus: contributions to open-source software initiatives, particularly in P2P or decentralized technologies.
