Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Egypt.

📋 Description

• Participate in the development of MiningOS to enhance the operational efficiency of Bitcoin mining locations.

• Assist in creating MDK, a developer toolkit designed to establish itself as the benchmark for the mining sector.

• Implement new features and resolve bugs with an emphasis on reliability, performance, and user satisfaction.

• Ensure the quality of the codebase by adhering to coding standards, conducting code reviews, and utilizing automated testing.

• Design and create responsive, high-performance user interfaces and application states for a smooth cross-platform experience.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience with React/Preact and modern JavaScript/TypeScript in production-level applications.

• Strong proficiency in state management using Redux, Redux Toolkit, Zustand, or similar frameworks.

• Capable of writing modular, maintainable, and thoroughly tested code.

• Excellent skills in testing and debugging complex frontend applications.

• Profound interest in or experience with P2P technologies or distributed systems.

• Comfortable working within a remote, globally distributed team.

• Strong communication skills.

• Preferred: experience in desktop application development utilizing Electron, Tauri, or similar environments.

• Preferred: knowledge of video/audio APIs, WebRTC, media streams, and real-time communication.

• Preferred: capability to optimize UI performance, including rendering and memory management.

• Preferred: experience in building cross-platform applications for macOS, Windows, Linux, or similar systems.

• Bonus: contributions to open-source software projects, particularly in P2P or decentralized technologies.
