Frontend Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Lead the technical analysis based on the initial acceptance criteria from Product/UX.

• Establish sequence/state diagrams and API contracts prior to coding.

• Create functional specifications using Markdown/Gherkin.

• Model intricate state flows and design robust interface architectures for high-traffic, low-latency environments.

• Collaborate with Product and UX teams within small, independent squads.

• Serve as the technical liaison between business concepts and feasible architectures.

• Convert business scenarios into acceptance criteria and structured system behaviors.

• Work alongside the Automation QA team.

• Design components and abstractions that are easy to maintain.

• Anticipate edge cases, critical bugs, and potential bottlenecks.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in software engineering.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.

• Experience in managing critical state flows in web applications or concurrent platforms.

• Ability to produce technical documentation before development, including OpenAPI/Swagger specifications, UML/sequence diagrams, and Markdown technical specifications.

• Familiarity with Given-When-Then / Gherkin business-oriented scenarios.

• Solid foundations in computer science or software engineering, encompassing design patterns, data structures, and browser performance.

• Experience or knowledge of JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Experience with UI libraries/frameworks such as React.

• Familiarity with Node.js environments.

• Experience with high-traffic, high-concurrency, or real-time data platforms is advantageous.

• Experience with complex production incidents or post-mortems is advantageous.

• Knowledge of event-driven architecture or real-time API technologies like WebSockets and Server-Sent Events is advantageous.
