Frontend Engineer – Mobile

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Develop and deploy features for sportsbook, casino, and fantasy applications utilizing React Native.

• Create intricate user interfaces, encompassing market layouts, betting slips, player props, and lobby experiences.

• Design physics-based animations and interactions driven by gestures.

• Produce canvas-based graphics for player cards, game visualizations, and dynamic effects.

• Contribute to a theme-oriented design system featuring over 100 shared components.

• Establish and manage WebSocket subscriptions for live odds, match updates, and user notifications.

• Implement state synchronization between real-time streams and local data storage.

• Manage deep linking from push notifications, attribution links, and web referrals.

• Integrate payment processes, including in-app purchases, bank transfers, and verified card entry.

• Diagnose and resolve platform-specific issues across iOS, Android, and web platforms.

• Enhance animation frame rates, rendering efficiency, and memory management.

• Write worklet functions for execution on the animation thread.

• Maintain end-to-end automation testing and contribute to CI/CD pipelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 4 years of professional front-end development experience.

• At least 2 years of experience building production-ready React Native applications for iOS and Android.

• Proficient in TypeScript with modern coding practices.

• Familiarity with Reanimated, including shared values, worklets, and gesture handlers.

• Proven record of delivering polished, production-quality mobile applications.

• Experience in troubleshooting platform-specific issues.

• Knowledge of mobile performance optimization techniques.
