Frontend Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colombia.

📋 Description

• Develop and uphold responsive, high-quality web interfaces for a consumer health platform.

• Convert designs and product specifications into clean, efficient, and accessible user interfaces.

• Work in close collaboration with product managers, designers, and backend developers within an agile framework.

• Create reusable components and contribute to the shared component library of the team.

• Engage in code reviews and assist in maintaining a high standard of engineering excellence.

• Troubleshoot, analyze, and enhance frontend performance across various devices and browsers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 3 years of professional experience in frontend development.

• Strong expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Proficient in HTML, CSS, and principles of responsive design.

• Experience with integrating REST and/or GraphQL APIs.

• Familiar with contemporary build tools and Git-based workflows.

• Comfortable operating in a fast-paced startup atmosphere.

• Strong written and verbal English skills (daily collaboration with a U.S.-based team).

• Located in Latin America with a reliable capacity to work during U.S.-overlapping hours.

• Nice to have:

• Experience with Next.js or similar frameworks.

• Background in healthcare, wellness, or other regulated consumer products.

• Knowledge of testing frameworks (Jest, React Testing Library, Cypress).

• Familiarity with design systems and accessibility standards (WCAG).
