Front Office, Product Owner

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Canada.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of a product or feature from its initial concept to delivery across the complete SDLC and AI-DLC.

• Establish initiatives, epics, user stories, comprehensive requirements, and acceptance criteria.

• Manage and prioritize the product backlog using Jira.

• Conduct regular grooming sessions with the development team and maintain at least three sprints of a ready backlog.

• Collaborate with various teams to ensure alignment of dependent workstreams and timely execution of projects.

• Evaluate the effect of initiatives on client satisfaction and overall business results.

• Update stakeholders on project status, risks, and resource needs.

• Keep documentation of requirements, acceptance criteria, project plans, and progress reports up to date.

• Work independently to advance initiatives.

• Validate developed functionalities and showcase new features to the wider organization.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 10 years of professional experience in product management.

• Proven experience in owning a product or service from inception to delivery.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

• Strong knowledge of SDLC, AI-DLC, and Agile methodologies, including Scrum and Kanban.

• In-depth understanding of capital markets and OTC derivatives, such as interest rate, FX, and commodity derivatives.

• Experience with Jira and active management and prioritization of product backlogs.

• Highly organized, motivated, and capable of working independently.

• Excellent collaboration and communication abilities.

• Capacity to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

• Proficient in documenting detailed requirements and acceptance criteria.

• Skillful in rapid prototyping.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, focused on delivering value to clients.

• Legally authorized to work in Canada.
