Front End Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Support the Regional Process Support Group in installations, audits, troubleshooting, implementation of best practices, innovation, cost-saving initiatives, and maintenance of Front End process equipment across BPEMEA and Asia facilities.

• Provide technical expertise for projects and overhauls.

• Create and submit comprehensive reports following site visits.

• Manage maintenance, audits, setup, and troubleshooting for Bodymaker and Trimmer equipment.

• Educate plant and central staff at all levels.

• Assist plants with requests for capital investments.

• Coordinate with equipment suppliers and OEMs.

• Formulate effective SOPs for optimal process equipment practices.

• Foster technical proficiency across various plants.

• Monitor the implementation of recommended actions.

• Maintain positive working relationships with plants and suppliers.

• Design and deliver technical training for both new and existing plants.

• Be prepared to respond to emergency breakdowns on short notice.

⛳️ Requirements

• ONC or degree in Mechanical Engineering.

• 3–5 years of practical engineering experience with various Body Makers.

• Capability to lead a small project or team.

• Comprehensive technical understanding of the operations within the Front End of a two-piece can plant.

• Ability to work independently.

• Highly motivated individual.

• Willingness to travel on short notice.

• Availability to work weekends as necessary.

• Valid driving license.

• Strong team player.

• Proficient in written and spoken English.
