Front End Developer, PHP

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Create and develop a responsive and accessible user interface for a public-facing portal designed for data exploration and visualization.

• Implement interactive user interface components such as tree navigation, query builder interfaces, filter panels, and visualization control panels.

• Integrate geospatial map visualizations utilizing ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript by utilizing REST endpoints.

• Construct interactive chart visualizations using Chart.js or D3.js for time-series, bar, and multi-series analytical perspectives.

• Enable data export functionality that supports various file formats and download workflows.

• Ensure compliance with ADA / Section 508 and WCAG 2.1 AA across all public-facing pages through the use of automated testing tools.

• Utilize RESTful backend APIs for dynamic data rendering and state management.

• Incorporate automated accessibility compliance scans as essential gates in the CI/CD pipeline.

• Collaborate with backend developers to establish API contracts and enhance frontend query performance.

• Develop unit and integration tests for frontend components using Jest.

• Engage in Agile delivery processes and participate in Agile ceremonies.

• Proficient in PHP.

• Strong background in frontend development.

• Experience in Agile delivery methodologies and participation in Agile ceremonies.

• Skilled in consuming RESTful APIs.

• Familiarity with ArcGIS Maps SDK for JavaScript.

• Knowledge of Chart.js or D3.js.

• Experience in writing unit and integration tests with Jest.
