Freight Agent

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Wisconsin.

📋 Description

• Engaging in prospecting and cold calling to cultivate meaningful relationships with clients.

• Coordinating shipment bookings and negotiating favorable rates with carriers.

• Ensuring the prompt delivery of cargo while maintaining effective communication with shippers and carriers.

• Managing essential documentation and proactively addressing transit challenges.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in supply chain management, logistics, or transportation.

• Familiarity with freight brokerage and transportation logistics.

• Exceptional negotiation and communication abilities.

• Capacity to handle multiple tasks and thrive under pressure.

• A background in customer service and relationship management.

• Strong attention to detail and a problem-solving approach.

• Previous experience in freight brokerage or transportation is an advantage.
