Freelance WordPress Developer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Resolve website bugs, layout inconsistencies, and performance issues.

• Oversee the maintenance and updates of WordPress core, themes, and plugins.

• Create custom pages, features, forms, workflows, and integrations.

• Develop and sustain REST API and third-party integrations.

• Set up website forms, booking tools, CRM connections, and authorized marketing tools.

• Implement WordPress security best practices, including backups, SSL, malware protection, and user access management.

• Ensure compliance with healthcare privacy and proper handling of sensitive website data according to HIPAA regulations.

• Document significant website updates, fixes, and technical recommendations.

• Demonstrated experience in developing and maintaining WordPress websites.

• Experience in creating custom WordPress features and integrating third-party services.

• Strong comprehension of WordPress security measures and website performance optimization techniques.

• Familiarity with healthcare websites and development practices that prioritize privacy.

• Capability to work safely in both production and staging environments.

• Willingness to sign a Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) and, if necessary, a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) or a similar confidentiality agreement.
