Freelance Traditional Chinese – English Investment Banking Translator

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +17 more states.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients within the Investment Banking industry.

• Develop and finalize translated materials prior to client submission.

• Translate from Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) into English.

• Manage Investment Banking – Market Commentary content.

• Collaborate effectively with managers and Project Managers.

• Operate under tight deadlines while upholding professionalism and accuracy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

• Expertise in Investment Banking – Market Commentary.

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Capacity to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, particularly when facing tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates located in the Asian time zone.

• Agreement to sign a confidentiality contract is required.

• Completion of complimentary Translation and Proofreading assessments is mandatory.

• Undergoing a background check is essential.

• Submission of the latest CV is required, detailing relevant Translation and Proofreading experience along with proposed rates.

• One of the following qualifications is necessary: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies (or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training) from an accredited institution; 2 years of translation experience paired with a college degree; 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation issued by a recognized governmental authority.

• Proficiency in English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) is essential.
