Freelance SEO Specialist, Chinese Speaking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Assist the digital department with SEO and digital visibility initiatives for global brands entering the South African market

• Perform technical SEO assessments

• Execute LLM visibility evaluations

• Analyze Core Web Vitals, hreflang, and canonical tags

• Create content strategies and enhance existing content

• Offer technical SEO advice

• Develop AI prompts

• Carry out website crawls and SEO evaluations

• Conduct keyword research and optimization

• Complete project-specific tasks across traditional search engines and new AI-driven platforms

⛳️ Requirements

• Experienced SEO Specialist based in South Africa

• Native or fluent proficiency in English and Chinese

• Strong understanding of technical and on-page SEO

• Background in international SEO and localization

• Knowledge of AI search, LLMs, and prompt engineering

• Proficient in SEO tools such as Screaming Frog, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, or similar

• Experience in technical SEO, on-page SEO, digital marketing, client engagement, and strategic SEO will be evaluated in the application questions

• A Bachelor's Degree is required as per the application questionnaire
