Freelance SEO & GEO Manager – AI Search, AI Visibility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Perform technical SEO and GEO optimization tasks.

• Conduct audits on websites to identify technical issues and optimization possibilities.

• Enhance website and URL structures for search engines and AI systems.

• Guarantee crawling and indexing by search engines and AI systems.

• Evaluate brand perception in AI models and uncover visibility opportunities.

• Formulate initiatives to bolster digital reputation.

• Generate PR content and AI-optimized profiles for platforms like LinkedIn and Google.

• Analyze keywords, search intent, and topic prospects using AI tools.

• Create content strategies, editorial calendars, and author briefs.

• Draft, revise, and enhance SEO- and GEO-optimized content.

• Coordinate copywriting efforts and ensure implementation aligns with search engine and AI standards.

• Assess visibility and traffic from search engines and AI systems.

• Measure performance utilizing Google Search Console, Ahrefs, and Analytics.

• Analyze results, pinpoint optimization opportunities, and formulate actionable recommendations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in online marketing.

• Strong understanding of SEO, especially in keyword research, on-page optimization, and content enhancement.

• Knowledge of how traditional search engines and generative AI search systems function.

• Proficiency in SEO tools such as Google Search Console, Google Analytics, Ahrefs, or Semrush.

• Experience in performance analysis and content optimization based on data insights.

• A proactive, analytical, and solution-oriented approach.

• Excellent communication skills and a structured work methodology.

• Proficiency in German at least at the C1 level; exceptional writing skills are crucial.

• Proficiency in English at least at the B2 level.

• Experience in B2B marketing, preferably within the IT sector (preferred).

• Initial experience with GEO for enhancing visibility in AI-driven search systems (preferred).

• Availability for communication during CET (Berlin) time zone, with a maximum deviation of +/- 2 hours.
