Freelance Medical Post-Editors, English-Malay

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Singapore.

📋 Description

• Translate, post-edit, and review clinical trial documents to ensure compliance with the medical and ethical standards of the target language.

• Improve the readability, accuracy, and coherence of scientific and medical content while preserving the original meaning.

• Collaborate with translation teams to offer constructive feedback and recommend necessary revisions.

• Keep abreast of the latest terminology and developments in the medical field to ensure translations remain accurate and up-to-date.

• Ensure that all documents adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and guidelines.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in clinical translation and post-editing.

• Native proficiency in the target language (Candidates who are not native in Malay (Singapore) should have significant experience and be entirely comfortable working in this variant).

• Proficiency in the source language(s).

• Strong attention to detail and a dedication to precision.

• Exceptional written communication abilities.

• A comprehensive understanding of clinical terminology and concepts.

• Capability to work independently and adhere to deadlines.

• Certification in medical post-editing, translation, or a related field is preferred.

• Familiarity with memoQ is preferred.
