Freelance Korean – English Translator, Investment Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea, +1 more country.

📋 Description

• Translate and perform post-editing on documents between Korean and English.

• Manage materials related to Investment Banking – Market Commentary.

• Prepare and finalize translated documents prior to client submission.

• Work in collaboration with managers and Project Managers.

• Process documents for a diverse range of international clients.

• Complete translation and MTPE assessments to evaluate proficiency.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.

• Expertise in Investment Banking – Market Commentary.

• Strong attention to detail, spelling, and grammar.

• Ability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.

• Applicants are required to sign a confidentiality agreement.

• Completion of free Translation and MTPE tests is mandatory for applicants.

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification with substantial translation training, from an accredited institution; OR

• A minimum of 2 years of translation experience alongside a college degree; OR

• At least 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; OR

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by an appropriate government authority.
