Freelance Korean – English Translator, Investment Banking

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Korea.

📋 Description

• Translate and finalize documents prior to delivery to clients.

• Manage documents for clients within the Investment Banking sector.

• Perform translations between Korean and English, and vice versa.

• Contribute to Investment Banking – Market Commentary materials.

• Collaborate with managers and Project Managers.

• Translate, post-edit, and proofread relevant content when necessary.

⛳️ Requirements

• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills in both Korean and English.

• Expertise in Investment Banking – Market Commentary.

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Capability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.

• Candidates must agree to a confidentiality agreement.

• Candidates must complete complimentary Translation and MTPE assessments.

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification with significant translation training from a recognized institution of higher education; OR

• Two years of translation experience along with a college degree; OR

• Five years of translation experience without a college degree; OR

• A certificate of competence in translation issued by a relevant government authority.
