Freelance IT Project Manager – AWS, AI Projects

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hungary.

📋 Description

• Take charge of delivering AWS, cloud transformation, AI/ML, and application modernization initiatives.

• Oversee project scope, timelines, risks, dependencies, and stakeholder expectations.

• Facilitate project ceremonies, planning sessions, status reviews, and steering committee meetings.

• Proactively identify and resolve risks.

• Track project health and implement recovery plans as needed.

• Build and maintain strong customer relationships to ensure high levels of satisfaction.

• Coordinate efforts across cross-functional and distributed delivery teams.

• Support AWS-funded initiatives, including MAP migration projects when applicable.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in IT Project Management.

• Proven experience in delivering software, cloud, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects.

• Strong skills in customer-facing roles and stakeholder management.

• Experience in consulting, professional services, or agency settings.

• Hands-on experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.

• Experience collaborating with globally distributed teams.

• Familiarity with productivity tools such as Coda, Notion, and Confluence.

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or a similar qualification is a notable advantage.

• Understanding of cloud technologies and their application in project management.

• Background in a software development agency, providing valuable insights into effective client-centric project management.
