Freelance Investment Banking Translator, English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Convert documents from English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

• Review and edit translated documents for accuracy

• Prepare and finalize translation outputs prior to client delivery

• Translate and edit materials for clients within the Investment Banking industry

• Operate under the supervision of a manager

• Collaborate effectively with Project Managers

• Complete translation and proofreading assessments to showcase abilities

• Include relevant translation and proofreading experience in your CV

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

• Expertise in Investment Banking, particularly in Market Commentary

• Strong attention to detail, including spelling and grammar

• Capability to maintain professionalism in all circumstances, especially under tight deadlines

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone

• Agreement to sign a confidentiality contract is required

• Completion of Translation and Proofreading assessments is necessary

• Background check will be conducted

• Up-to-date CV is required

• CV must detail relevant Translation and Proofreading experience

• CV should present the proposed best Translation per word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD

• One of the following qualifications is required: a degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent degree with substantial translation training from a recognized institution; two years of translation experience along with a college degree; five years of translation experience without a college degree; or a certificate of competence in translation issued by a relevant government authority
