Freelance Investment Banking Translator, English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Arizona, +20 more states.

📋 Description

• Translate and proofread documents for clients within the Investment Banking sector.

• Create and finalize translated deliverables prior to submission to the client.

• Collaborate with Project Managers under the supervision of a manager.

• Translate from English to Traditional Chinese (Taiwan) specifically for Investment Banking – Market Commentary.

• Utilize subject matter expertise to deliver polished, client-ready work.

⛳️ Requirements

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in both English and Traditional Chinese (Taiwan).

• Expertise in Investment Banking – Market Commentary.

• Keen attention to detail, including spelling and grammar.

• Capability to uphold professionalism in all circumstances, particularly under tight deadlines.

• Preference for candidates in the Asian time zone.

• Candidates must agree to a confidentiality agreement.

• Candidates must complete complimentary Translation and Proofreading assessments.

• Candidates must undergo a background check.

• A degree in Translation, Linguistics, or Language Studies, or an equivalent qualification with substantial translation training from a recognized institution; OR 2 years of translation experience with a college degree; OR 5 years of translation experience without a college degree; OR a government-recognized certificate in translation competence.

• The most recent CV should include pertinent Translation and Proofreading experience, along with the proposed best Translation per word rate and Proofreading hourly rate in USD.
