Freelance Game LQA Tester, Chinese to English

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.

📋 Description

• Identify, isolate, document, and resolve localization and linguistic issues.

• Validate fixes using testing tools or databases.

• Adhere to Test Cases and Checklists for focused testing.

• Implement relevant testing processes and procedures.

• Compose bug descriptions in line with company standards and client requirements.

• Utilize target-market user preferences to enhance the client’s product.

• Proactively pinpoint gaps in test coverage.

• Collaborate with partner teams throughout the product testing phase.

• Offer insights on gameplay, enjoyment, and game balance.

• Conduct manual testing on various gaming platforms.

• Undertake additional relevant tasks.

⛳️ Requirements

• Avid FPS game player with a strong passion for the video game industry.

• Native-level proficiency in English.

• Exceptional English spelling and grammar skills.

• Prior LQA experience in FPS games is essential.

• Working hours must largely align with China Standard Time core business hours (UTC+8).

• Updated CV related to gaming experience.

• Willingness to complete one unpaid LQA test.

• Acceptable rate of USD 15/hour.
