This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Hong Kong.
• Convert creative sketches and mood boards into comprehensive digital Tech Packs utilizing Adobe Illustrator, CLO 3D, or Excel.
• Incorporate graded specifications, construction callouts, stitch types, and trim details within Tech Packs.
• Research, recommend, and source fabrics, hardware, and wash finishes while adhering to cost and sustainability objectives.
• Facilitate remote fitting sessions via Zoom or Teams, providing digital feedback and photographs on pattern modifications and construction improvements.
• Act as the primary liaison for overseas and domestic manufacturing partners through email, WhatsApp, and video conferences.
• Negotiate pricing, lead times, and minimum order quantities remotely.
• Resolve production challenges using shared digital files and deliver prompt solutions.
• Manage the production calendar from the sampling phase through to bulk delivery.
• Identify potential delays and communicate them to the internal team using tools like Asana, Trello, Slack, or similar applications.
• Set quality standards, including AQL levels, and uphold them through remote inspection checklists.
• Analyze garment costs in costing sheets to achieve wholesale and retail margin goals.
• Serve as the intermediary between the creative design team and manufacturing partners.
• A Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design, Fashion Merchandising/Product Development, or a related field is advantageous but not mandatory.
• A minimum of 3 years’ experience in fashion product development, technical design, or production management.
• Demonstrated experience in apparel development, particularly in intimate wear.
• Advanced skills in creating Tech Packs.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator is essential.
• Familiarity with CLO 3D or Browzwear is a plus.
• Strong understanding of woven, knit, and cut-and-sew construction techniques.
• Comfortable utilizing Slack, Zoom, Google Workspace, and other project management tools on a daily basis.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Ability to assess fit or construction issues from factory photos/videos and articulate solutions clearly in a remote setting.
• Reliable high-speed internet connection.
• A quiet space for conducting video calls.
• A portfolio demonstrating relevant work in apparel and intimate wear development; applications without a portfolio will not be considered.
• Preferred experience collaborating directly with Asian or European manufacturing hubs.
• Familiarity with PLM software is preferred.
