This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Localize, edit, and proofread marketing communications, which encompass web content, in-store materials, direct mail, print, and additional resources.

• Validate the localized marketing copy for the respective market.

• Ensure consistency with approved translations, translation memory, and glossaries.

• Apply proper grammar, spelling, punctuation, and adhere to brand writing guidelines.

• Utilize CMS, collaborative editing platforms, and task management systems effectively.

• Adhere to structured workflows, checklists, and SOPs to maintain high-quality output.

• Engage in the selection process by signing an NDA if shortlisted, responding to additional inquiries, and completing an unpaid assessment test.

• Potentially conduct an interview with the client’s Team Lead for the market.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 5 years of experience in editing/proofreading, either on the agency side or client side.

• Native proficiency in Dutch.

• Strong understanding of cultural and linguistic nuances pertinent to the market.

• Demonstrated experience in editing, proofreading, or localization, preferably in marketing/advertising.

• Excellent command of grammar, spelling, and punctuation in Dutch.

• Proficiency with Mac applications is essential.

• Capability to adapt and refine content to align with brand tone and guidelines.

• A keen attention to detail and a consistent track record of meeting deadlines.

• Outstanding time management and prioritization skills, with the ability to adapt swiftly to changing priorities while maintaining quality in fast-paced settings.

• Ability to work independently while also collaborating with remote teams.

• Familiarity with systems such as CMSs and translation platforms.

• Comfortable navigating structured workflows that include checklists, SOPs, and defined routing paths.

• Confidence in transitioning between various tools and platforms.

• A Bachelor's or Master’s degree in a relevant field is preferred but not mandatory.
