Freelance Designer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Become part of Berlin Bytes' freelance designer network for prospective opportunities.

• Deliver UX/UI design for both web and mobile applications.

• Implement product thinking, user journeys, wireframes, prototypes, and final user interfaces.

• Develop visually appealing branding designs for websites, landing pages, and various digital platforms.

• Transform brand identities into engaging digital experiences.

• Produce design files that are ready for implementation and work closely with developers.

• Assist in the complete delivery process from concept through to implementation.

• Work within or enhance existing design systems.

• Potentially assist with frontend experiences for both web and mobile platforms.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated freelance or professional experience in at least one relevant field: Product Design, Visual Design, or Design Engineering.

• A robust portfolio that highlights relevant digital projects.

• Experience in web design.

• Mobile design experience is a significant advantage depending on specialization.

• Capability to collaborate with cross-functional teams and adjust to various project contexts.

• Proficient spoken and written English skills.

• Experience in agency, consulting, or client-facing roles is a plus.

• Familiarity with design systems is a plus.

• Skills in frontend implementation are a plus.

• Experience with motion design, branding, or prototyping is a plus.

• Proficiency in the German language is a plus.
