Freelance Creative Translator, Transcreator – Vietnamese to English (US)

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Provide exceptional transcreation, translation, and cultural adaptation for marketing, entertainment, and multimedia creative content from Vietnamese to English.

• Collaborate effectively with internal teams and linguistic experts to guarantee top-quality results across multiple platforms.

• Perform thorough cultural and market research to avoid pitfalls of literal translation and to accurately convey brand tone, humor, and subtleties.

• Review, proofread, and offer constructive feedback on Vietnamese-to-English marketing content to enhance campaign effectiveness.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Translation, Marketing, Linguistics, Communications, or a related discipline (or equivalent professional experience).

• At least 3+ years of specialized experience in marketing translation and creative transcreation.

• Native-level fluency in English (US) coupled with a professional understanding of Vietnamese.

• Demonstrated ability to adapt tone, style, and voice in accordance with diverse brand guidelines and multimedia formats.

• Strong creativity and attention to detail, with the ability to produce engaging and persuasive content.

• Knowledge of modern CAT tools and localization processes, complemented by outstanding communication and remote collaboration skills.
