Freelance Copywriter, German, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop content tailored for German-speaking C-level executives and decision-makers.

• Offer valuable insights and engage new members within the communities.

• Craft LinkedIn posts aimed at senior professionals.

• Design LinkedIn and email newsletters.

• Produce in-depth articles and case studies derived from expert interviews.

• Create show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for episodes.

• Develop interview guides that include agendas and essential questions.

• Write follow-up posts for events organized by city and community.

• Generate short-form content suited for WhatsApp and specialized formats like playbooks.

• Utilize podcast recordings, interview transcripts, and insights from events as foundational material.

• Leverage Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and preparing transcripts.

• Communicate directly with clients regarding specific deliverables, gather feedback and approvals, and implement necessary adjustments.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the content team.

• Produce content in accordance with specifications, and publish and schedule it using the required platforms.

• Track content performance and contribute to the ongoing enhancement of the content strategy.

• Manage multiple German-speaking communities simultaneously, adapting to diverse tones and community guidelines.

• Assist SAWOO GmbH in expanding reach and visibility throughout the DACH region.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German (mandatory).

• Proficient in English at a minimum of B2 level, ideally C1.

• A minimum of 3 years' experience in copywriting or content writing.

• A strong portfolio showcasing German-language texts across various formats is essential.

• Experience in B2B or digital media settings is preferred.

• Familiarity with a professional or executive audience is a significant advantage.

• Basic understanding of on-page SEO is beneficial.

• Familiarity with Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus.

• Comfortable using generative AI tools with a strong ability to edit AI-generated content effectively.

• Ability to produce clean, publication-ready texts.

• Demonstrated independent, reliable, structured, and proactive work style.

• Capability to consistently adhere to strict guidelines regarding tone, CTAs, links, tagging, and language logic.

• Strong awareness of tone and target audiences, particularly executives and decision-makers.

• Proficient use of LinkedIn with an understanding of factors that drive engagement.

• Application to be submitted in German, including CV, a brief cover letter, writing portfolio featuring at least two formats, expected hourly rate, and available weekly capacity.

• Willingness to complete a brief writing test as part of the selection process.
