Marketing Copywriter

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants anywhere in the world.

📋 Description

• Craft compelling copy for websites, landing pages, campaigns, emails, newsletters, product messaging, and other sales and marketing materials.

• Collaborate with leadership, design, and product teams to develop effective positioning and messaging.

• Generate marketing ideas and assist in the creation of project briefs.

• Gain insights into products, target demographics, customer challenges, and value propositions.

• Engage with product teams, assess customer feedback, examine competitors, and analyze reactions to current marketing efforts.

• Identify marketing angles, messaging strategies, structures, and objectives.

• Provide strategic insights and articulate the rationale behind recommendations.

• Refine copy through feedback and iterative processes.

• Enhance the clarity of product positioning and marketing communications.

• Aid in the development of impactful pages, campaigns, launches, offers, and product presentations.

• Exceptional writing skills with a keen instinct for effective messaging and positioning.

• A genuine curiosity about products, businesses, and consumer purchasing behaviors.

• Ability to simplify complex products or ideas.

• Competence in transitioning from a vague problem to a clear angle and polished copy.

• A proactive attitude, taking ownership and initiative rather than waiting for tasks to be clearly defined.

• Capacity to collaborate closely with designers, product teams, and leadership.

• Openness to feedback and the ability to discern when an idea requires modification.

• Strong skills in asynchronous work and written communication.

• Submission of a CV along with work samples, including product copy, landing pages, campaigns, positioning, launches, or similar projects.

• For at least one work sample, provide an explanation of the problem, observations, and the approach taken.
