Freelance Copywriter, Deutsch, B2B Communities

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Develop content in German tailored for executives within large organizations.

• Craft LinkedIn posts aimed at senior professionals.

• Compose LinkedIn newsletters and email communications.

• Write in-depth articles and case studies based on interviews with experts.

• Generate show notes, episode titles, and descriptions for podcast episodes.

• Prepare interview guides that include agendas and key questions.

• Create follow-up posts for events based on city and community.

• Produce short content formats for WhatsApp and specialized formats like playbooks.

• Utilize Claude or ChatGPT for research, drafting, structuring, and preparing transcripts.

• Proactively gather feedback, necessary information, and approvals from clients.

• Collaborate with the Content Coordinator and the Content Team.

• Generate content as per specifications, manage its publication and scheduling independently.

• Track content performance and assist in shaping the content strategy.

⛳️ Requirements

• Native-level proficiency in German is essential.

• Proficiency in English at a minimum B2 level, ideally C1.

• At least 3 years of experience as a copywriter or content writer.

• Experience in B2B or digital media environments is preferred.

• A compelling portfolio showcasing German-language texts across various formats, such as LinkedIn posts and newsletters, is required.

• Experience engaging with a professional or executive audience is a significant advantage.

• Basic knowledge of on-page SEO is beneficial.

• Familiarity with tools like Claude or ChatGPT, Google Workspace, ClickUp, Canva, Slack, and a CMS like Sanity is a plus.

• Ability to produce cleanly formatted, publication-ready copy.

• A reliable, structured, and proactive work style is required.

• Capability to communicate independently with community hosts and clients.

• Ability to manage deadlines and navigate multiple community contexts autonomously.

• Consistent adherence to guidelines for CTAs, links, tagging, and language logic.

• A keen sense of tone of voice and understanding of the target audience.

• Openness to feedback and commitment to professional growth.

• Confident use of LinkedIn with insight into engagement drivers.

• Applications should be submitted in German, including a CV, a brief cover letter, a writing portfolio featuring at least two formats, expected hourly rate, and available weekly capacity.

• A short writing test will be required for shortlisted candidates.
