Freelance Conceptual Art Director

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in South Africa.

📋 Description

• Develop comprehensive campaign concepts spanning film, out-of-home, social media, and digital platforms.

• Design engaging visual treatments, mock-ups, and storyboards.

• Utilize AI visual generation tools to create polished, presentation-ready images.

• Construct convincing creative presentations.

• Work closely with strategists, copywriters, and creative leadership based in London.

• Take responsibility for your projects and meet established deadlines.

• Project scope and deadlines will be determined prior to each booking.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience at leading creative agencies such as Ogilvy, TBWA, Joe Public, M&C Saatchi, or similar.

• A portfolio showcasing innovative campaign concepts and exceptional visual craftsmanship.

• Practical knowledge of Midjourney, Adobe Firefly, or comparable AI tools.

• An understanding of UK and international brands, cultures, and audiences.

• A proactive and collaborative mindset, along with a passion for creating the work yourself.

• Recognition through major advertising awards is a plus.

• Applicants must be based in South Africa.

• Outstanding creatives currently in full-time employment may also be considered if they can fulfill the agreed commitments.
