Fraud Analyst, Banking – L1

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.

📋 Description

• Oversee and manage the real-time fraud alert queue for digital banking, cards, and payments during night-shift hours (Kuwait time).

• Assess alerts using established playbooks: validate activity, implement contact strategies where necessary, and categorize as genuine, fraudulent, or refer for further review.

• Forward intricate, high-value, or pattern-related cases to Level 2 support with a comprehensive and clear handover narrative.

• Adhere to alert-handling SLAs and quality benchmarks, ensuring that case records are precise and complete.

• Identify recurring false positives and emerging trends for the team's data analyst.

• Ensure a smooth handover at the end of the shift to maintain 24/7 operational continuity.

⛳️ Requirements

• 1-3 years of experience in fraud operations, transaction monitoring, disputes/chargebacks, or a comparable alert-driven banking setting.

• Familiarity with managing an alert queue within a fraud or transaction monitoring system (any major platform).

• Genuine availability and fitness for ongoing night-shift work aligned with Kuwait hours (AST, GMT+3) - kindly verify the overlap with your own time zone before applying.

• Dependable home working environment: quiet space and consistent high-speed internet connection.

• Proficient written English for case documentation and escalation handovers.

• Available to start in August 2026 - immediate or short-notice availability is highly preferred for this position.
