
Franchise Sales Representative

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Minnesota.
• Generate new leads for franchising through networking, referrals, business development, and personal prospecting.
• Address assigned inbound franchise inquiries on the same business day.
• Conduct initial qualification calls, deliver approved presentations on franchise opportunities, secure completed franchise applications, and guide qualified candidates through each phase of the development process.
• Inform candidates about the franchise opportunity and the requirements for ownership.
• Oversee candidates throughout the franchise sales journey, from the initial inquiry to signing, collaborating with franchise development leadership during candidate progression, Discovery Day, and final closing.
• Keep detailed CRM records and update the pipeline accordingly.
• Organize candidate transition calls, Discovery Days, and executive introductions in collaboration with franchise development leadership.
• Professionally present the franchise opportunity while adhering to all franchise regulations and disclosure obligations.
• After Discovery Day, manage the collection of necessary documents and assist in assembling complete candidate packages for legal review and preparation of franchise agreements.
• Establish relationships with franchise consultants, lenders, and referral partners.
• Participate in franchise expos, networking events, and industry conferences as required.
• Achieve established goals for lead generation, qualification, and franchise development.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in consultative sales.
• Prior experience in franchise sales is strongly preferred.
• Background in selling high-value investments or intricate business opportunities.
• Exceptional communication and relationship-building abilities.
• Strong financial understanding, capable of discussing investment requirements and business ownership.
• Ability to evaluate a candidate’s financial, operational, and cultural compatibility with the brand rather than simply trying to close every lead.
• Comfortable working autonomously with minimal supervision.
• Familiarity with franchise CRM software; experience with FranConnect is strongly preferred.
• Professional presentation skills via phone, Zoom, and in person.
• Willingness to travel occasionally for Discovery Days, franchise expos, and meetings.
• Working knowledge of Franchise Disclosure Documents, franchise disclosure requirements, and compliance in franchise sales.
• Marketing and lead-generation support.
• Primarily a remote, home-based independent contractor role.
