This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Gabon.
• Offer guidance and coaching to franchisees and the Operations team to achieve both company and operational objectives.
• Counsel franchisee owners/operators on enhancing sales, profits, operating standards, and systems while ensuring customer satisfaction is maintained or exceeded.
• Ensure adherence to IDQ policies and system standards.
• Maintain support from DMA chairpersons and key franchisee leadership to achieve operational targets.
• Engage functional experts and provide support to other departments as required.
• Implement and execute the Worldwide Operations Business Plan for a specific district.
• Develop and execute district-wide business strategies encompassing marketing, operations, training, development, and supply chain.
• Establish and execute business plans with franchise owners when suitable.
• Provide guidance to ensure that plans align with ADQ’s Operations and Marketing Plan.
• Advise and oversee marketing performance through collaborations with departments, vendors, and franchisees.
• Prepare franchisees to meet goals related to shift management, food safety, quality, service, cleanliness, repair and maintenance, and atmosphere.
• Offer financial health support to franchisees.
• Collaborate with ADQ staff on strategies for development, reinvestment, and renewal for both new and existing franchisees.
• Provide assistance to other departments/functions as necessary.
• Aid in new store openings as needed.
• Complete ad hoc projects as required.
• Bachelor’s degree in business, restaurant management, or a related field, or equivalent experience in restaurant operations.
• A minimum of 4 years in restaurant management (preferably multi-unit/high volume) and/or franchise operations management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A clean driving record.
• Comprehensive knowledge and familiarity with the Restaurant Industry (QSR preferred).
• In-depth understanding of restaurant operations.
• Proficient in marketing, finance, training, human resources, and development.
• Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Creative thinker capable of quickly generating innovative ideas across diverse business units.
• Excellent communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Capability to provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external clients.
• Strong multitasking skills with the ability to prioritize multiple projects and requests effectively.
• Relationship-building skills that facilitate mutually beneficial connections with both internal and external clients.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
• Availability to work occasional evenings and weekends as necessary.
• ServSafe certification.
• Frequent communication via phone and email.
• Willingness to travel overnight for franchisee and staff meetings/visits approximately two weeks per month.
• Capability to drive an automobile for franchisee and staff meetings/visits.
• Must be insurable by the company’s insurance provider.
• Ability to travel by airplane when necessary.
• Capability to stand on concrete or tiled surfaces for up to 8 hours per day during visits to franchisee locations.
• No food or beverage allergies that would hinder tasting products or working in and around a Dairy Queen restaurant environment.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
