This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.
• Take ownership of the entire recruiting process for designated client law firms across various roles, including attorneys, paralegals, administrative staff, and operations personnel.
• Collaborate with client stakeholders such as the CEO, Managing Partner, COO, and Office Manager to develop the job blueprint and job description before initiating the sourcing process, ensuring alignment on the role, compensation, and non-negotiable aspects.
• Identify, evaluate, and present a curated list of qualified candidates following SMB Team's structured hiring methodology, which includes scorecards, structured interviews, and PI/behavioral assessments.
• Oversee the candidate pipeline and communication throughout the entire process, providing clients with weekly updates on search status.
• Assist in structuring and negotiating offers on behalf of the client, ensuring that the compensation is both realistic and competitive for small to mid-sized firms.
• Monitor and report on recruiting KPIs (time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire, retention) to both the client and SMB Team leadership.
• Provide support for internal recruiting initiatives as needed.
• A minimum of 3 years of recruiting experience, showcasing a blend of agency and in-house recruitment; candidates with experience in either area will be considered, though preference will be given to those with both.
• A proven history of recruiting for small to mid-sized enterprises.
• Experience in recruiting for a variety of role types (professional, administrative, operations) rather than focusing on a single specialty.
• Understanding of the business implications of a poor hire, along with the discipline to prioritize fit and long-term retention over quick hires while maintaining hiring velocity.
• Strong consultative and stakeholder management abilities; comfortable acting as a trusted advisor to firm owners and Managing Partners rather than a transactional vendor, including managing processes and deadlines with client deliverables.
• Demonstrated adherence to structured hiring processes instead of relying solely on intuition.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, serving as a direct representative of the SMB Team to clients and candidates.
• Legal recruiting experience is preferred but not mandatory.
• A client-first mindset: prioritizes the long-term success of the hiring firm over maximizing placement fees or expediting the process.
• Proven success in outbound recruiting, as opposed to solely hiring through incoming applicants.
• Experience in recruiting for a minimum of 5 roles simultaneously, ideally managing 10 or more.
• Above-average technical skills with demonstrated success in utilizing technology and AI.
• We cover 75% of your Medical, Dental, and Vision insurance for you and your family.
• FLEXIBLE VACATION TIME - We encourage you to take time off to recharge, ensuring you can perform your best at work.
• A budget for team member education and learning, covering courses, events, and books.
• 401(k) plan with a 3% match.
• Work from home or come into the office — the choice is yours!
