Fractional CFO – Strategic Finance Focus

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Take charge of developing a drivers-based financial model that provides management teams with insights into their business operations.

• Establish a consistent and timely model update procedure linked to the accounting month-end close.

• Manage the monthly budget versus actuals (BvA) reporting, focusing on variance analysis.

• Collaborate closely with VeloCFO's Accounting team to align the P&L structure with management’s reporting preferences.

• Provide high-impact analyses to inform management decisions related to M&A, fundraising, pricing strategies, and unit economics.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of experience in the finance sector.

• Demonstrated success in advising clients and collaborating with management teams.

• Background in investment banking or a comparable advisory setting.

• Operating experience in Strategic Finance, FP&A, or Business Operations within high-growth technology companies.

• Proficient in advanced Excel and financial modeling techniques.

• Strong knowledge of US GAAP and essential performance metrics relevant to technology firms.

• Basic understanding of contemporary accounting and finance tools across the industry.
