FP&A Systems and AI Enablement Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California.

📋 Description

• Take ownership of our EPM platform (Pigment): Oversee the system comprehensively, encompassing data models, calculation logic, dimensional structure, security architecture, and release management.

• Convert Business to Technology: Transform intricate business requirements (such as revenue models, headcount plans, and unit economics) into technical platform solutions and scalable modeling patterns.

• Drive Architectural Strategy: Make essential architectural choices that will influence how planning operates across the organization for years ahead.

• Lead the Adoption of Finance AI: Discover, pilot, and implement AI use cases, including automated variance commentary, narrative generation, anomaly detection, and AI-assisted scenario modeling.

• Streamline Workflows: Create and test conversational and agent-driven finance workflows that assist business partners in navigating routine planning tasks.

• Collaborate on Implementation: Work alongside Data Science and IT to deploy AI solutions, ensuring strict governance, accuracy, and auditability.

• Our company embraces a remote-first culture and operates across various time zones – you may occasionally need to perform duties outside of your standard working hours (if on-call is not required) OR This role may necessitate standby, on-call, or off-hours responsibilities (if on-call IS required).

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Information Systems, Accounting, Economics, or a related data-focused field.

• Experience in a high-growth, pre-IPO SaaS company is highly preferred.

• Familiarity with Python or similar scripting languages is advantageous.

• At least 5 years of experience in a hybrid FP&A/Systems role, with a solid foundation in corporate finance and a comprehensive understanding of the business logic behind financial forecasts.

• Technical Expertise: Extensive, hands-on implementation experience in modern EPMs (Pigment Certified Modeler credentials are a plus), along with exposure to cross-system integrations (e.g., Workday, NetSuite, Salesforce, BI tools).

• AI Proficiency: Regular, active use of LLMs, copilots, and automation tools to tackle real business challenges.

• Interpersonal Skills: Keen attention to detail, outstanding organizational capabilities, and the ability to manage ambiguity while fulfilling multiple roles.

• Stakeholder Engagement: Excellent communication skills with a proven ability to influence key stakeholders, foster alignment, and collaborate across functions.
