FP&A Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Take charge of creating detailed monthly and quarterly financial and operational review presentations for executive leadership (P&L, BS).

• Manage the corporate financial model, which includes both historical and future financial results and projections.

• Conduct weekly and monthly assessments of actual results compared to budgets, reforecasts, and previous month/year outcomes.

• Develop financial summary metrics and materials for presentations to the Board of Directors and investors.

• Compile the consolidated corporate budget on a quarterly and annual basis.

• Perform ad hoc tasks, analyses, and projects as needed.

• Create, prepare, and deliver presentations to the management team that provide valuable analysis, identify necessary action items, and effectively frame decisions to be made.

• Implement and collaborate with a Business Intelligence Tool and Dashboard reports to establish a unified reporting source that offers meaningful insights into business performance.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in finance, accounting, or a related field is REQUIRED.

• 2-3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis is REQUIRED.

• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with a strong desire to enhance skills is REQUIRED.

• Solid understanding of fundamental financial reports including P&L, BS, and Cash Flow Statement is REQUIRED.

• Experience in navigating, querying, and reporting from a relational database system; knowledge of SQL will be advantageous.

• Background in the IT, SaaS, or FinTech industry is preferred.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English are REQUIRED; proficiency in German is an advantage.

• Capable of designing, originating, adapting, and articulating highly complex financial models.
