This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Act as the main finance business partner for the designated revenue business line.
• Oversee forecasting, planning, reporting, and financial analysis initiatives.
• Collaborate with the General Manager and cross-functional leaders on financial performance, strategic planning, resource allocation, and objectives related to growth and profitability.
• Manage the forecasting, tracking, reporting, and analysis of subscription revenue outcomes.
• Create, maintain, and enhance consumer and subscription revenue models for weekly, monthly, quarterly, and long-term planning.
• Spearhead the development and assessment of business KPIs and convert insights into actionable recommendations.
• Collaborate with Data and Analytics teams to verify data sources, address data-quality concerns, and enhance the financial insights framework.
• Coordinate with Product, Marketing, Operations, Accounting, Data, and other stakeholders on financial assumptions, business drivers, forecasting methodologies, and performance expectations.
• Analyze actual-to-forecast performance, identify business drivers, and communicate implications, risks, and recommended actions to senior management.
• Lead the annual budgeting process and long-term planning, including scenario modeling, sensitivity analysis, and investment assessment.
• Produce executive dashboards, operating review documents, and financial presentations for discussions with senior leadership and the Board.
• Evaluate financial opportunities and risks and provide action recommendations.
• Enhance financial processes, models, systems, and reporting tools.
• Offer financial guidance on complex or ambiguous business inquiries with minimal direction.
• A Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field is required; an MBA is advantageous.
• 8+ years of pertinent finance experience, or 6+ years with an advanced degree.
• Experience in supporting a subscriptions, consumer, marketplace, or other recurring revenue business is strongly preferred.
• Strong grasp of subscription revenue forecasting, conversion, retention, activity, and unit economics.
• Proficient in constructing and maintaining revenue models and translating business drivers into actionable financial insights.
• Demonstrated ability to convey complex concepts in a simple manner.
• Advanced skills in Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with database management tools and sophisticated modeling applications.
• Solid understanding of GAAP accounting principles and forecast intricacies within the income statement.
• Capable of delivering results in a dynamic environment with tight deadlines and shifting priorities; must be proactive.
• Ability to work independently and with minimal guidance.
• High level of business acumen and capability to analyze and evaluate business opportunities and challenges.
• A positive attitude and a strong work ethic.
• Responsible for reviewing and adhering to Company safety and security policies and procedures.
