FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead and enhance the enterprise capital planning and investment governance process across Technology, Product, Engineering, and Operations.

• Collaborate closely with senior leadership to drive investment decisions while fostering discipline and transparency in capital deployment.

• Oversee the entire capital planning lifecycle, from intake and prioritization to approval, tracking, and evaluation of post-investment performance.

• Design, implement, and manage a scalable capital budgeting process that includes project intake, scoring/prioritization, approval thresholds, funding allocation, and governance forums.

• Create and sustain robust capital models (NPV, IRR, payback, scenario/sensitivity analysis) along with standardized business-case templates for investments across the company.

• Formulate multi-year capital plans that align with company strategy, growth priorities, and resource limitations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 6 years of relevant experience in FP&A, corporate finance, capital planning, project finance, or similar roles within the technology sector.

• Strong financial modeling capabilities (NPV, IRR, scenario/sensitivity analysis) and a proven track record of developing investment business cases.

• Direct experience in managing or overseeing capital budgeting, CAPEX governance, or project portfolio processes.

• Familiarity with software capitalization accounting and the distinctions between CAPEX and OpEx.

• Advanced proficiency in Excel; experience with planning systems (Anaplan, Adaptive) and BI tools (Tableau, Power BI) is preferred.

• Exceptional stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Engineering, or a related field.

• An MBA is required.
