Senior Financial Analyst, Ops Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Leverage Data Insights: Analyze data to uncover opportunities and engage relevant stakeholders to enhance fixed cost structures and unit economics. Assist with site expansions and process redesign efforts. Assess automation investments and create comprehensive ROI models for new equipment.

• Ensure Robust Financial Control: Manage purchase order and headcount approvals for the site, ensuring expenditures align with financial plans while reinforcing financial controls as operations expand.

• Financial Planning & Reporting: Collaborate with site leadership to develop financial plans that align with overarching company goals. Create reporting and operational metrics that guide site labor allocation, automation deployment, and investment prioritization.

• Financial Modeling: Develop dynamic models to assess the comprehensive financial implications of CapEx investments and process modifications. Convert analysis into actionable insights to inform decision-making.

• Process Enhancement: Identify and spearhead cross-functional initiatives that enhance financial and operational processes as the operation scales.


⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting, or equivalent experience.

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Finance or a related analytical field.

• At least 4 years of experience working with large data sets in Excel or Google Sheets.

• Previous experience with SQL, Python, or Looker is advantageous.

• Demonstrated ability to function effectively in ambiguous situations where problems are not well-defined.

• Strong sense of ownership, a proactive mindset, resilience, and a drive to succeed.

• Sharp focus on efficiency and attention to detail.

• Proven history of achieving results through collaboration with stakeholders.

• Strategic thinker with a high degree of intellectual curiosity.
