Principal Specialist, Military Engines – General Finance

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Connecticut.

📋 Description

• The team will oversee all analytical, financial, operational, and contracting functions necessary to transition from the current pre‑Head of Agency (HOA) phase to a negotiated Multi Year Procurement (MYP) agreement.

• Financial modeling and scenario assessment.

• Pricing and estimation (ROM and formal proposals).

• Volume and demand forecasting.

• Investment and capacity analysis.

• Integration of supply chain and supplier flowdown processes.

• Development of contract terms and conditions strategy and proposals.

• Cross-functional collaboration among Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Programs, and Sustainment.

• Assistance with executive briefings.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is required, with a minimum of 5+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance; alternatively, a Master’s degree with at least 3+ years of experience in Accounting or Finance will be accepted.

• U.S. citizenship is mandatory, as only U.S. citizens are eligible to access information under this program/contract.

• Practical experience in Financial Modeling, Business Case Development, Forecasting, Sensitivity Analysis, Linear Modeling, and Machine Learning.

• Proficient in MS Excel and MS PowerPoint.

• Capability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while providing accurate reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, including senior leadership.
