FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify and design automation opportunities powered by AI across FP&A workflows, which encompass model building, variance analysis, forecasting, scenario planning, and report generation.

• Assess AI tools and data orchestration platforms, create proof-of-concepts, and suggest implementation strategies.

• Spearhead the design and execution of FP&A data workflows, reporting frameworks, and KPI dashboards.

• Ensure that FP&A outputs are synchronized with accounting timelines and data requirements, serving as a liaison between FP&A and accounting.

• Design, construct, and maintain FP&A models that include P&L analysis, revenue bridging, cost tracking, and profitability segmentation.

• Develop and manage rolling cash flow forecasts and working capital models.

• Provide guidance to stakeholders on cash flow timing implications and disseminate forecasting and cash management best practices.

• Oversee FP&A's involvement in the month-end closing process, which includes revenue analysis, cost accrual reviews, variance investigations, and reconciliation with accounting schedules.

• Collaborate with accounting to coordinate timing and data transfers, and highlight any issues that could impact the speed or accuracy of the close.

• Assist with ad-hoc scenario modeling, variance investigations, business case ROI analyses, and financial impact assessments.

• Report directly to Howard Tunnicliffe, VP of Finance and Revenue Operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• Qualified finance professional with ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or an equivalent qualification.

• 5+ years of experience in FP&A or financial operations within high-growth, high-tech settings.

• Proficiency in applying Claude or similar AI tools to financial workflows is essential.

• Advanced Excel capabilities and a proven track record in building and maintaining intricate financial models.

• Familiarity with financial planning systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, or comparable platforms.

• Strong comprehension of month-end closing processes, variance analysis, and financial reporting.

• Ability to influence and guide colleagues without formal authority.

• Exceptional communication and presentation abilities.

• Capability to inquire effectively and challenge existing norms.

• Proven ability to adhere to strict deadlines while managing multiple projects.
