FP&A Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.

📋 Description

• Identify and design automation opportunities powered by AI across FP&A workflows.

• Independently assess AI tools to minimize manual workload and expedite month-end closing processes.

• Develop proof-of-concepts and propose implementation strategies while ensuring data quality and compliance with audit standards.

• Lead the design and execution of FP&A data workflows, reporting frameworks, and KPI dashboards.

• Ensure that FP&A deliverables are in line with accounting schedules and data specifications.

• Serve as the liaison between FP&A and accounting departments.

• Design, develop, and maintain essential FP&A models, which include P&L analysis, revenue bridges, cost tracking, and segment profitability.

• Take ownership of the rolling cash flow forecast and working capital model.

• Conduct financial analyses on cash flow influences, payment terms, and liquidity strategies.

• Manage FP&A's responsibilities during the month-end close process, including revenue analysis, cost accrual reviews, variance examinations, and reconciliations.

• Collaborate with the accounting team on timing and data transfers.

• Assist with ad-hoc scenario modeling, variance investigations, business case ROI analysis, and evaluations of financial impacts.

⛳️ Requirements

• A qualified finance professional (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).

• Over 5 years of experience in FP&A or financial operations within high-growth, high-tech environments.

• Required experience with applying Claude or similar AI tools to financial workflows.

• Advanced Excel proficiency and a proven track record in building and maintaining complex financial models.

• Familiarity with financial planning systems such as NetSuite, Adaptive Planning, or comparable tools.

• Strong grasp of month-end closing processes, variance analysis, and financial reporting standards.

• Ability to influence and guide peers without having formal authority.

• Exceptional communication and presentation skills.

• Capability to ask insightful questions and challenge existing norms.

• Proven ability to meet tight deadlines while managing multiple projects simultaneously.
