This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.
• Take charge of the planning, forecasting, and financial analysis functions for clients.
• Provide the essential insights that leadership teams require for data-driven decision-making.
• Assume a strategic role in budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and reporting.
• Work closely with colleagues and directly engage with client leadership.
• Assist clients in achieving clarity, confidence, and control over their financial outlook.
• Create and manage monthly, quarterly, and annual budgets and financial forecasts.
• Evaluate variances, trends, and key performance indicators in collaboration with client leadership.
• Design dashboards and reporting packages that convert complex data into understandable narratives.
• Lead scenario planning, headcount modeling, and long-range strategic planning initiatives.
• Provide support for fundraising, board reporting, and investor-related financial documents as required.
• Integrate and enhance planning tools and financial systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor and liaison among client finance, accounting, and leadership teams.
• Present findings and recommendations directly to client executives and stakeholders.
• Mentor junior team members and promote FP&A best practices across various engagements.
• Conduct ad hoc financial analyses to assist in client decision-making.
• A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related discipline.
• At least 4 years of relevant FP&A, corporate finance, or similar analytical experience.
• Preferred 2 years of management or client-facing leadership experience.
• Proficient in advanced financial modeling and forecasting; strong skills in MS Excel.
• Familiarity with BI or planning tools is a plus (e.g., Adaptive, Vena, Planful, or similar).
• Experience with various ERPs is advantageous (e.g., QBO, Intacct, Sage, NetSuite).
• Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities (both verbal and written).
• A positive attitude and a team-oriented mindset.
• Capability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize significant items effectively.
• Confidence, ambition, self-motivation, and the ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.
