This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Integral member of the Finance Anaplan Administration Support Team, focusing on delivering interconnected financial planning solutions.
• Spearhead the technical architecture and design process, including prototyping, process design (such as scenario design and flow mapping), testing, training, defining support procedures, and assisting with implementations.
• Assess new design specifications, enhance quality standards, and address architectural issues.
• Convert existing solutions, spreadsheets, and business challenges into advanced Anaplan multi-dimensional models.
• Adjust current models as part of a cohesive solution, optimization efforts, or to integrate new functionalities.
• Provide honest, critical feedback and timely progress updates to Business Partners and Anaplan Subject Matter Experts (SMEs).
• Generate and execute financial reports using PeopleSoft, Anaplan, and other relevant software on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
• A reliable asset in facilitating systems strategy, developing systems requirements, designing and prototyping, testing, training, defining support procedures, and implementing tangible business solutions under tight deadlines.
• Demonstrate independent judgment within established policies and procedures to determine suitable actions, while leading a small team towards successful outcomes and serving as a role model for your team of model builders to deliver valuable and sustainable solutions.
• Contribute significantly to the development of optimization products.
• Create model documentation and ensure compliance with company standards.
• Author, document, and maintain the related code base and unit tests, adhering to industry-standard coding practices.
• Lead data integration, migration solutions, as well as User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and deployment of designed solutions.
• Actively prioritize projects, manage customer expectations, and organize the team's efforts for maximum effectiveness.
• Serve as a resource of technical expertise and a mentor across development teams.
• 5-8 years of experience in building relevant system models.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling.
• Proven knowledge of a formal system implementation methodology, including requirements gathering, design, build/test, training, change management, and deployment (preferably Agile methodology).
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• At least 1 year of experience with Anaplan.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and simultaneously manage responsibilities, with a proactive, hands-on approach.
